About Us
Mercycare Succeed Centre is a registered community-based school and vocational empowerment hub founded in 2010 and formally registered on 9th November 2016 under Registration No. BN/2016/454471 in Mathare, Nairobi. We provide an alternative learning and vocational empowerment pathway aimed at uplifting youth economically and socially. Through training in tailoring, hairdressing, and counselling support, we empower learners to acquire practical skills that enable them to achieve self-reliance and meaningful employment. We serve vulnerable and marginalized individuals—including school dropouts, teenage mothers, reformed youth, and disadvantaged adolescents—by providing basic education, vocational training, and holistic support. Our commitment is to empower lives and restore hope, ensuring learners receive both academic and hands-on vocational skills that prepare them to thrive as productive members of society Institutional Profile
Our Unique Approach
• Combine basic education with vocational skills
• Provide one on one learner support
• Partner with businesses for practical placements
• Focus on holistic transformation — not just skills training
Our short-term training programs (3 weeks to 4 months) focus on practical skills for economic independence.
We work with marginalized communities to provide free vocational training to vulnerable young people in Kenya, aged 14–25 (95 % being girls). Training includes vocational and business skills, combined with wellbeing and psychosocial support.
About ninety per cents secure employment or start their own small businesses within 8 months of graduating, earning enough to live above the World Bank poverty line.
